После круизного показа Gucci Алессандро Микеле заподозрили в плагиате. Один из 115 образов очень напоминал меховую куртку с дутыми брендированными рукавами, которую гарлемский портной Дэниэл Дэй сшил для олимпийской чемпионки по женской атлетике Дианы Диксон в 1988 году.

Несколько дней Gucci отмалчивались, но вчера наконец разместили в своем официальном Instagram-аккаунте фотографию модели в той самой меховой куртке с пояснительным текстом. Оказалось, что это оммаж работам Дэниэла Дэя и отсылка к стилю хип-хоп тусовки 80-х, на формирование которого портной заметно повлиял. Для убедительности Gucci даже отметили официальный аккаунт Dapper Dan в своем посте.
